The Kimberfella
Greetings and welcome to The Kimberfella!
Hi! - I am Robbie
My embroidery journey began about 15 years ago with a simple Brother combo machine and a 4"x4" hoop. While that little hoop taught me a lot, I quickly outgrew it—moving up to a 5"x7", and eventually to my current partner in creativity: the Baby Lock Aerial.
It was a gift from my mom, though, that truly reignited my passion—Kimberbell’s Twilight Boo-levard. I stitched it up in just two weeks, and that project opened a whole new chapter in my creative life.
Here on The Kimberfella, you'll find a showcase of my wall quilts, bench pillows, and other embroidery-based crafts, along with tutorials and behind-the-scenes peeks into how I bring each design to life. My goal is to share not just what I make—but how and why I make it—so fellow crafters can feel inspired and empowered to start (or continue!) their own creative adventures.
I live in the heart of Utah's Salt Lake Valley with my tween-age son and my retired father, a resilient amputee who brings his own strength and humor to our home life. Crafting is not just my hobby—it’s my anchor, my joy, and a way to share beauty with the world.
Thanks for stopping by—I'm so glad you're here!
